Brain does not want to work today
I see what I want
I can taste what I want
I just can’t find the words
To explain what I want
So forgive me when I ask
For the thing

The other thing
And not the thing you are thinking of
I just can recall
What the thing is called
It’s in brain
Locked away
Somewhere
At the moment

What I’m talking about

This frustrating action
Of when your brain starts to freeze
You can’t think
Of the simple little things
Your brains just overloaded
And some how
Blew a fuse
You just need to recharge
Then you’ll be okay
And be able to think strait
At the end of the day
But for now
Just pass me the that thing

The other thing
And no
Not the thing you’re thinking of
Get your mind out of the gutter
Because I know it’s there!
